Job summary

MediPro Direct is seeking experienced phlebotomists to perform mobile life insurance exams as independent contractors. You will travel to applicants’ homes or workplaces, perform phlebotomy and biometric measurements, and complete insurance exam documentation in a per diem, flexible schedule.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, current certification, and strong customer service skills. Per diem travel within assigned coverage areas is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
• Current phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, or other applicable certification.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete medical documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Proficiency in obtaining blood pressure, pulse, and physical/biometric measurements.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to applicants within an agreed-upon service area.

Responsibilities

• Travel to applicants' homes, workplaces, or other locations to perform life insurance medical exams.
• Conduct detailed medical history interviews and obtain vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine specimens; centrifuge when needed.
• Prepare and package specimens for shipment to laboratories.
• Complete insurance exam forms accurately and thoroughly; submit documentation.
