Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to perform field and in-centre phlebotomy duties, including specimen collection, vitals, and medical histories. The role requires reliable attendance and adherence to SOPs, with documentation in the portal and accurate specimen handling.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of phlebotomy experience and appropriate certification; strong communication and customer service are essential for successful patient and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience. Pediatric/geriatric experience a plus.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in center exams and mobile exams, including vitals and venipuncture.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
• Upload cases in portal within 24 hrs on weekdays and 48 hrs on weekends.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to lab indicated on work orders.
• Provide customer service to clients and adhere to SOPs and manuals.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and ensure proper records.
