Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to cover field and in-center exams, perform phlebotomy, and ensure accurate specimen handling. The role emphasizes safe, professional patient interactions and adherence to SOPs across testing procedures.

The position requires high-volume blood draws, reliability with documentation, and the ability to travel within a 25-mile radius with flexible hours, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws required.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience. Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Perform in-center and mobile exams, including vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection and EKG.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order; upload and complete cases in portal within 24–48 hours.
• Transport specimens safely and maintain records of each specimen collected daily.
• Follow Examiner’s Manual and maintained logs; ensure cleanliness and professional conduct.
