Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to provide field coverage for mobile exams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role includes specimen collection, processing, and mentoring new staff in phlebotomy procedures, with travel within a 25-mile radius depending on staffing needs.

Requirements include phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification and at least one year of phlebotomy experience, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification required.
• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in center exams and mobile exams, including venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
• Upload and complete cases in portal within 24 hrs on weekdays and within 48 hrs on weekends.
• Provide customer service to clients.
• Maintains records of each specimen collected daily.
