Job summary

Asset Risk Inc in Springfield, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our mobile team. You will collect blood samples from patients at various sites, with kits provided; no centrifuging needed. You are paid per successful blood draw, ranging from $30-$40 per patient depending on experience.

The role requires reliable transportation, as you will travel between patient sites. Prior phlebotomy experience and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
• Collect patients’ personal information
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw
