Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our mobile team in the Springfield area. The role involves collecting blood samples from patients at mobile sites, with compensation on a per-draw basis.

Reliable transportation is a must as patients already have their kits. No centrifuging required—just collection and sending the samples. Pay ranges from $30 to $40 per successful blood draw, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw.
