eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, seeks Health Screeners for Washington, D.C. These as-needed roles offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay, performing biometric testing and blood draws at local company events.

Candidates should have strong customer service, with venipuncture/fingerstick experience and morning event availability. High School/GED and phlebotomy certification are required; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Current national Phlebotomy certification or approved equivalent.
• Validated fingerstick or venipuncture experience within recent months.
• Active state Phlebotomy certification where required (NV/CA WA/LA).
• Must have morning availability for events (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric tests: height, weight, blood pressure, BMI.
• Blood draws via fingerstick or venipuncture in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare specimens for storage or further processing.
• Set up and break down portable bioscreening stations.
• May transport supplies to events as needed (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs/records per regulatory requirements.

We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Washington, D.C. eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners. About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies. What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Required

High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

Experience

1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred

• Ability to work independently, in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with Safety and organizational policies and procedures
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
