Job summary

Premise Health, via eHealthScreenings in Kansas City, MO, is seeking bilingual Spanish health screeners to join our PRN event-based team. You will perform biometric screenings and venipuncture/fingerstick testing at local company events, with morning availability on weekdays.

Responsibilities include collecting biometric data and preparing specimens in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service, reliability, and safety compliance are essential, with nationwide health screening

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• National certification in Phlebotomy or equivalent Premise Health approved program.
• Over 100 fingersticks in last year or 200 venipuncture in last 6 months.
• Active state phlebotomy certification required for NV, CA, WA, LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing: height, weight, blood pressure, BMI, and body fat.
• Conduct fingerstick and venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare specimens for storage or further processing.
• Set up/break down portable biometric stations at events.
• Transport supplies to events as needed (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs for laboratory transactions per regulations.
• Must have morning availability Mon-Fri for events.

We are currently seeking Bilingual Spanish Health Screeners to join our team in Kansas City, MO.

About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

Experience

• 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred
