Job summary

Premise Health is seeking Health Screeners in Akron, OH to join our team delivering on-site biometric screenings for local companies. These as-needed roles offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay, with opportunities to travel within the area.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and/or fingerstick collection, using a manual blood pressure cuff, and providing friendly, professional customer service. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• National phlebotomy certification or accredited program with hands-on externship.
• 100 fingersticks in last year or 200 venipunctures in last 6 months.
• Active state phlebotomy certification if practicing in NV, CA, WA or LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform health screenings for employees at client sites.
• Travel to local companies within your area for screenings.
• Deliver accurate phlebotomy procedures and document results.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.

About the role:

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role?

Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Job Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• For candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA (you must have an active state specific Phlebotomy certification)

Availability:

Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
