Job summary

Central City Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a certified phlebotomist to support mobile patient testing across multiple locations in Monterey Park and surrounding areas. You will identify the best collection method, prepare specimens, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include scheduling, routing, collecting blood, maintaining supplies, documenting orders in EMR, and upholding infection control and confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and CA Driver License.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be a Certified Licensed Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily schedule for specimen collection across locations.
• Coordinate collection routes to ensure timely completion.
• Report all critical laboratory results promptly.
• Validate ICD-10 codes for orders to reduce costs.
• Prepare specimens for shipping, including centrifuging.
• Complete patient blood draws.
• Maintain inventory for laboratory procedures.
• Document and transmit orders using EMR E Clinical Works.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards.
• Adapt to mobile work environment and meet attendance expectations.
