Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant for per diem independent contractor work in Berks County (Morgantown and nearby towns). Pay is $25–$50 per order, with payment twice monthly.

You will travel to client locations, collect specimens, label, centrifuge, document health histories, take vitals, and perform EKGs as trained. Requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and your own basic equipment (BP cuff, stethoscope, scale, tape measure).

Job description

MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT- PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.

COVERAGE: BERKS COUNTY "Morgantown and nearby towns"

PAY RANGE $25 - $50 PER ORDER.

JOB DETAILS:

• Must be willing to travel to client's location for appointments.
• Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 9am -1pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus including any afternoons or early evenings.
• Paid on a fee per case basis twice a month.
• Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKG'S when needed (will train with our equipment).
• Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens.
• Bilingual a plus $$.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have computer with internet access, a printer to print orders and documents.
• YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs ( reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 400 lbs., metal tape measure.
• Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
