Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant – Per Diem Independent Contractor

Coverage: Honesdale, Waymart, Lake Ariel, and other surrounding towns in Pike County

Pay Range: $25 - $40 per exam

Job Details

• Must be willing to travel to the client's location for appointments.
• Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 9 am - 1 pm and 1 Saturday morning a month; other availability to schedule clients would be a plus, including any afternoons or early evenings.
• Paid on a fee-per-case basis twice a month.
• Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documenting health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKGs when needed (will train with our equipment).
• Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Current phlebotomy experience of 2 years, skilled in hand stick as needed.

Job Requirements

• You must supply your own: BP cuffs (reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs., metal tape measure. Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine.
• Background check and urine drug screen required.
