Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR for the Reading, PA area. You will travel to client locations, label and centrifuge specimens, and document health histories. Training for EKGs is provided, with pay on a per‑order basis twice monthly.

Availabilities include 1–2 weekdays 9am–1pm and one Saturday morning per month, plus additional scheduling options. You must supply basic medical tools and pass background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel to client locations for appointments.
• 1–2 weekdays 9am–1pm and 1 Saturday morning per month; additional availability a plus.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN BP cuffs, stethoscope, scale, and tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Label specimens accurately and centrifuge as needed.
• Document health histories and record vital signs.
• Obtain EKGs when required (training provided).
• Call clients, schedule appointments, and ship specimens FedEx.
