Job summary

Amg-Senior-Medical-Group is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to collect blood and specimens in patients' homes and assisted living communities. You will label, process, and transport specimens, ensuring proper handling and timely documentation in the EMR.

The role requires phlebotomy experience, BLS/CPR preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel across the territory daily while maintaining professional patient relations and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel daily across assigned territory.
• EMR experience (DrChrono preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection in patients' homes and assisted living communities.
• Collect blood, urine, and other ordered specimens.
• Label, process, package, and transport specimens to laboratories.
• Coordinate daily schedules and routes with AMG operations team.
• Document collections in the electronic medical record and communicate issues to clinical team.
• Maintain specimen integrity and inventory of supplies.
• Build relationships with patients, caregivers, facility staff, and providers.
• Comply with HIPAA and infection prevention standards.
• Represent AMG professionally in the community.
