You are paid per successful blood draw, typically $30-$40 per patient, with compensation based on experience. This role offers flexible scheduling and requires adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy technician role.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with legal requirements for blood draws and fluids.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide reassurance during collection.
• Use sterile needles and vials to draw blood.
• Label samples correctly and send for testing.
• Never send back needles with any blood draw.

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
• Collect patients' personal information
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
