Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. seeks a qualified Phlebotomist for mobile blood collection, assisting patients with blood draws and ensuring accuracy in labeling and transport. Reliable transportation is required as this role involves on-site patient visits across locations.

The candidate should have prior phlebotomy experience and ideally certification, with a solid understanding of patient identification and safety practices to protect both patient and staff during collection.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw.
