Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a MOBILE position to collect blood samples from patients. You will travel to patient sites with kits provided, perform venipuncture, label specimens, and send them for testing.

Reliable transportation is a MUST, no centrifuging, and compensation is paid per successful blood draw, ranging from $30-$40 depending on experience. Prior phlebotomy experience preferred and certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification methods and safety practices.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• Never send back any needles with any blood draw.
