Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team in Lenexa, KS. You will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients, label specimens, and ensure proper handling for testing.

This role supports accurate diagnoses and patient care. Responsibilities include prioritizing sample collection by urgency, obtaining patient information, selecting venipuncture methods, and providing reassurance during blood draws.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
