Job summary

ASSET RISK INC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our mobile team. You will collect blood samples from patients, with payments made per successful blood draw ranging from $30-$40 depending on experience.

This role requires reliable transportation since patients have kits ready for collection. Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent requests, collecting patient information, selecting venipuncture methods, and ensuring samples are labeled and sent correctly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• Never send back any needles with any blood draw.
