You are paid per successful blood draw, typically $30-$40 per patient depending on experience. Responsibilities include prioritizing requests by urgency, collecting patient information, selecting venipuncture methods, providing reassurance, using sterile needles and vials, labeling samples correctly, and sending them for

Qualificações

• Experience as a phlebotomist or phlebotomy technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification best practices.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients' personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw.
