Job summary

Asset Risk Inc is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Illinois. You will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients, ensuring accurate labeling and safe handling to support reliable testing and patient care. The role emphasizes patient reassurance, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and precise data entry into our systems.

Prior experience and a phlebotomy diploma are preferred. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
