Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. You will collect blood, tissue, and other fluid samples from patients, following safety protocols to ensure accurate test results and patient comfort.

In this role, you will prioritize urgent collections, identify patients, and label samples for testing while using sterile needles and standard procedures. Your work directly supports diagnoses and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Prior phlebotomy experience required or preferred.
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification procedures.
• Awareness of the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
