Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide reassurance to patients during the collection process.
• Use sterilized equipment to draw blood.
• Label samples correctly and send them for testing.
• Ensure safety by never sending back needles.
