Job summary

Asset Risk Inc. is seeking a phlebotomist to collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples, ensuring accurate patient information and proper labeling for test processing.

You will support timely diagnostics in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing urgent requests and maintaining sterile technique. The role requires prior phlebotomy experience or a phlebotomy diploma; strong data entry skills; and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Knowledge of patient identification and blood draw best practices.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
• Collect patients’ personal information
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing
