Job summary

ASSET RISK INC in Philadelphia is seeking a Phlebotomist for a mobile position to collect blood samples from patients. You will travel to patient sites with kits provided; reliable transportation is a MUST. No centrifuging required; you simply collect and send samples.

You are paid per successful blood draw, ranging from $30-$40 per patient depending on experience. Prioritize urgent requests, maintain patient information, and ensure proper labeling and handling of samples.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of patient identification best practices.
• Familiarity with the legal requirements for blood draws and fluid samples.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency.
• Collect patients’ personal information.
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process.
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood.
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing.
• NEVER send back ANY NEEDLES with any Blood draw.
