Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our South Bend team on a part-time, flexible schedule. You will travel to patients’ homes, nursing facilities, and other care locations across South Bend, performing venipuncture with care and ensuring accurate specimen handling.

The role emphasizes independent work, compassionate patient service, reliable transportation, and adherence to safety and labeling standards.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across South Bend, IN.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel.
