Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Poplar Bluff, MO, visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. You will perform venipuncture, verify patient identity, label specimens accurately, and deliver courteous, patient-centered care.

The role offers part-time hours, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and the independence of working in the field for a premier long-term-care laboratory. Experience preferred; certification favored.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Poplar Bluff, MO.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff.
