Job summary

Getlabs is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to join a high-growth startup delivering at-home diagnostics. You will visit patients at their homes or offices, collect specimens with mobile phlebotomy equipment, and ensure proper transport to laboratories with accuracy and care.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, ~1 year of experience, and the ability to start early (as early as 5am). Strong communication and dependable transportation are essential given travel to patients’ locations.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy experience preferred).
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to drive in the dark - first appointments may be as early as 5am!
• Ability to physically access patients including kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting and reaching.
• Ability to physically navigate patients' homes including climbing stairs and carrying 15 pounds while walking.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Bonus Qualifications: Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office, drive to and from appointments (in your own vehicle), process specimens with a centrifuge that plugs into your car, drop samples off at patient service centers or laboratories.
• Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and processing of specimens, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to adapt in a rapid high-growth environment.
• Maintain close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.
