Responsibilities

• Procurement of patient specimens for analysis.
• Inventory record keeping as directed.
• Mobile phlebotomy, nursing home, and on-call duties as directed.
• Process specimens that are being sent to reference laboratories.
• Patient registration, receptionist duties, specimen collection and processing at various laboratories on/offsite drawing stations.
• Train new employees.
• Bench maintenance per Blood-borne Pathogen Standard Manual.
• Dispensation of patient results.
