Job summary

Actalent seeks a Float/Mobile Phlebotomist to travel across the Phoenix metro area, visiting homes and clinics to collect blood and process specimens. You will work independently, ensure sample integrity, and follow safety and compliance standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen labeling and transport, and timely delivery to labs, with adherence to company policies. A valid HS diploma and driving a personal vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience required; other phlebotomy roles do not qualify.
• Strong venipuncture and blood draw proficiency in clinical or lab settings.
• Experience with labeling, handling, and preparing specimens for transport.
• Ability to work independently in mobile and clinical environments.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills, including geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, clinics, and other sites to perform blood collections.
• Perform venipuncture and safe blood draws following protocols.
• Label, handle, and prepare specimens for transport and lab processing.
• Deliver specimens to designated locations in a timely, secure manner.
• Provide professional patient care and maintain specimen integrity throughout.
• Complete documentation and logs for specimens, processing, and transport.
