Job summary

Solaris Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to travel daily routes to nursing facilities, perform venipuncture and collect specimens for lab transport. This role demands early start times, on-call rotation, and weekend availability.

You will maintain precise records and adhere to HIPAA and safety protocols. The ideal candidate has at least two years of phlebotomy experience, owns a reliable vehicle with insurance, and uses a smartphone for routing.

• Minimum of two years phlebotomy experience, mobile phlebotomy a plus.
• Reliable vehicle with car insurance and valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone for communication and routing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel a daily route to nursing facilities and collect specimens.
• Perform venipuncture and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Maintain accurate documentation and time sheets.
• Follow safety, infection control, HIPAA and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Solaris departments and drive under supervision as required.
• Maintain a good driving record and daily vehicle readiness.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Mobile Phlebotomist, who is confident with difficult blood draws and can provide excellent care in a fast-paced, early morning mobile setting. This role requires open availability, including early morning start times, rotating weekends and participation in an on-call schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel a daily route to different nursing facilities
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for lab transport
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation
• Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA and company protocols
• Works cooperatively with all Solaris departments
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision
• Complete time sheets, mileage logs and other records accurately
• Must maintain a good driving record
• Must have a reliable vehicle that can meet daily driving requirements
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
