Job summary

Shepeard Community Blood Center is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve the Dublin, Georgia area. This role involves traveling to donor sites to collect blood while ensuring a positive donor experience.

You will perform donor screenings, venipuncture, and post-donation support, while maintaining high standards of care and compliance with cGMP guidelines. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to saving lives in Laurens and Twiggs Counties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for Success - Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies for smooth blood drives.
• Collect Life-Saving Donations - Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture with care.
• Support Donors - Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed.
• Create a Positive Experience - Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and team members.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required
• Previous medical field experience is preferred

• Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
