You will work under supervision within a clinical setting, ensuring accurate labeling, processing, and data entry across multiple departments to support diagnostic testing and patient care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to CLSI guidelines, and ongoing competency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Related work experience required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens according to CLSI guidelines.
• Accurately label, accession, and process specimens.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure safe patient care and efficient workflow.
• Mentor students and new employees as needed.
• Maintain competency through annual exams and stay compliant with policies.
