Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve patients in Portsmouth, OH, traveling to homes and healthcare facilities across Northeast Ohio. You will collect blood samples, verify patient identity, and ensure proper labeling and transport, while delivering compassionate, professional patient care.

Requirements include phlebotomy certification preferred and at least one year of experience; you must have reliable transportation and excellent communication skills to work

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners

The role

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Cleveland/Akron region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.
