Job summary

American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to support patients in the Columbus, OH area. This full-time role offers flexible schedules and mileage reimbursement to travel to patient homes, nursing, and assisted living facilities.

You will perform vein and capillary blood collection with care, verify patient identity, label specimens accurately, and communicate with the lab and facilities to ensure timely processing. Prior phlebotomy experience and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio.
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.

Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Cleveland/Akron region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.
