Job summary

American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve patients across the Cleveland/Akron region, visiting homes and long-term care facilities to deliver lab services.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy certification and experience with venipuncture in elderly populations; must have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff.

We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Cleveland/Akron region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

What your day looks like

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Northeast Ohio
