Job summary

DocGo is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to travel to patient homes in Long Beach, CA, performing venipuncture, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing. You will document in the EMR and coordinate with telehealth providers to ensure seamless care.

The role requires a California CPT I certificate, a valid driver's license, and at least 2 years of in-person healthcare experience, with BLS certification and bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California CPT I certificate issued by CPDH.
• Valid Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) in state of residence with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of in-person experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist in Urgent Care / Primary Care / lab settings preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs with equipment.
• Fluent bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing with precision.
• Support in-home visits to close care gaps for members.
• Document in EMR according to state regulations and company policy.
• Take part in continuing education to keep skills up to date.
