PharMerica is seeking a dedicated Mobile Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves extensive travel (60-70%) to various locations to support pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and patient care.

Responsibilities include collecting prescription information, preparing and labeling medications under supervision, and ensuring accurate dispensing while maintaining regulatory compliance. A valid driver’s license and basic pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel 60-70% and work in a mobile setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution.
• Collects information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals.
• Measures, mixes, and labels medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Ensures accurate prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries.
• Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals.
• Supervisory Responsibility: No

M-F: 7am-3:30pm, 12:30pm-9pm

Sa-Su: rotating weekends

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSPercentage of Travel: 25-75%

• Reliable personal vehicle for travel.
• Ability to travel 60-70% of the time.

**To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11-20 lbs.**
