Job summary

Furry Land Denver is seeking a General Manager to lead our mobile pet grooming team. You will onboard and supervise groomers and staff, build relationships with clients, and drive growth through service excellence.

As a hands-on leader, you will schedule appointments, oversee vehicle upkeep, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Flexible weekend hours and a strong focus on community engagement are required.

Qualifications

• GM requires proven experience as a manager with sales and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to meet appointment schedules.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on customer demand.
• Experience supervising partners or training, motivation and sales techniques, and analytical abilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard all new associates and groomers, ensuring training and safety certifications are completed and brand standards maintained.
• Develop a local business growth and advertising strategy with leadership and oversee its execution.
• Ensure mobile grooming vans are maintained, serviced, registered, and that upkeep or repairs are handled.
• Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a friendly, professional manner.
• Schedule and attend marketing events.
