Job summary

GYMGUYZ Rhode Island is seeking a Personal Training Manager to lead, train and grow our local team. This hands-on leadership role combines coaching with business development to expand client base and revenue in Rhode Island.

You’ll partner with local businesses and community groups, manage trainer onboarding, deliver customized training, and drive client renewals. Full-time, flexible schedule with earnings potential up to $85,000+

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fitness experience with leadership or management experience.
• Proven success selling and retaining personal training clients.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and follow-through.
• Flexibility for some early mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, senior communities, schools, sports organizations and other community partners.
• Develop referral and corporate wellness partnerships.
• Represent GYMGUYZ at community events and local initiatives.
• Respond to inbound leads, conduct consultations and close new business.
• Own new client, revenue and renewal goals.
• Follow up consistently and track what is generating results.
• Deliver creative, individualized personal training.
• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments.
• Build trusted relationships that lead to results, renewals and referrals.
• Work with clients across different ages, abilities and fitness levels.
• Mentor, develop and support our personal trainers.
• Help onboard new trainers.
• Coach the team on programming, communication, professionalism and client retention.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of service as we grow.
