Job summary

Small Talk Therapeutic Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for our Early Intervention team serving birth to 5 in Philadelphia. This mobile, contract (1099) position offers full-time hours with a minimum of 10 sessions per week.

The SLP will provide EI services, support communication development, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to set meaningful goals while maintaining documentation and meeting EI and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed or license-eligible as an SLP in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with children birth–5 preferred, not required.
• Understanding of family-centered, ND-affirming, and relationship-based practices.
• Strong communication skills, organized, and respectful about deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Early Intervention services to children birth–5: IFSP-based birth–3 and IEP-based services for ages 3–5 through Elwyn.
• Support speech, language, and communication development—including AAC and gestalt language processors—through play-based, child-led interventions.
• Coach and collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to support family goals.
• Develop and update functional, strengths-based goals.
• Maintain documentation, session notes, and reports per EI, Elwyn, city, and state requirements.
• Attend IFSP and IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
