Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Mobile Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD. This unarmed role involves patrolling industrial locations, operating a vehicle as part of the post, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of security experience, a valid driver's license for driving posts, and are at least 18 years old. A background check and drug screen are required in compliance with laws and company policy.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background check required by law; drug screen required; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Maintain daily activity reports and patrol logs and communicate with leadership.
