• Maintain daily activity reports and patrol logs and communicate with leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and reporting access control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
