Job summary

Titan Security is hiring Mobile Patrol Security Officers to patrol at a retail location in Howell, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, performing patrols, controlling access, and monitoring cameras to deter theft and ensure safety.

Ideal candidates will be able to lift up to 75 lbs, perform foot patrols, and meet the physical demands of the job. We offer paid time off, holidays, and comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of Mobile Patrol Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications of Mobile Patrol Security Officers:

• 1 year experience as a security officer
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

• Starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, location and position.
