Job summary

Atrium Health – Mobile Medicine seeks an experienced Paramedic to join our EMS team. You will provide frontline medical care, document interventions, administer medications and IV solutions, and support performance improvement initiatives in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires Paramedic Certification or an Associate degree in Paramedicine, 1–3 years of experience in EMS or ED, and a valid driver’s license. Availability for day/night/weekend/on-call shifts is needed.

Qualifications

• Paramedic Certification or Associates degree in Paramedicine.
• 1-3 years of full-time EMS or ED experience.
• National Registry preferred; willing to obtain within 1 year.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Respect patient rights and confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Document patient care accurately and legibly.
• Provide quality patient care and education per Mobile Medicine policies.
• Interpret data, monitor readings, and intervene appropriately.
• Participate in Mobile Medicine Performance Improvement.
• Administer medications and IV solutions safely.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and supplies.
• Work day, night, weekend, and on-call shifts.
