Responsibilities

• Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of the building’s structure and grounds.
• Perform assigned repairs and emergency preventative maintenance.
• Interior preparation, painting, touch-up, and finishing of areas at commercial level.
• Utilize patching, painting, and finishing across multiple trades under close supervision.
• Use tools and coatings for varnish, polyurethane, primer paint, and other specialty coatings.
• Repair and remodel imperfections; mask, prepare, and protect surfaces.
• Build, dismantle, and repair structures, walls, roofs, glass, siding, scaffolding or fascia.
• Review work orders and estimate time, materials, equipment, and tools; order materials as needed.
• Review construction drawings, sketches, specs, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on prints and sketches to understand the structure needs.
• Ensure tools/equipment are cleaned, stored, and maintained for safety.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and ensure safety of personnel.
