Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a Mobile Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant for Pleasant Manor in Waxahachie, TX. This role supports a post-acute care setting with in-home visits as part of our rehab program. Regular travel is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualified candidates are licensed PTAs with outpatient experience and reliable transportation. The position offers flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) to accommodate patient care demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with supervising Physical Therapist in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

PLEASANT MANOR - WAXAHACHIE, TX

Join our team and start making a difference! Pleasant Manor in Waxahachie, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Mobile Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant for home visits as part of our rehab program. Regular travel is required. This position offers a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Physical Therapist.
