Job summary

Focused Care Rehab seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one outpatient therapy to older adults in homes and senior living communities in the McKinney area. You will treat patients in their living environments, emphasizing safety, mobility, independence, and daily activities, with autonomy and team support.

As a mobile OT, you will travel between patient locations, collaborate with a rehab team, and help patients regain functional skills in real-world settings.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Occupational Therapist license.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between patient homes in the McKinney area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans and help patients improve strength, mobility, safety, and independence.
• Provide one-on-one outpatient OT interventions in homes and senior living communities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document interventions, patient response, and progress in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with senior living staff and families as part of the care team.
