Job summary

Vision To Learn is seeking a qualified optometrist licensed to practice in Pennsylvania to join our mobile clinic team. The role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams for school-age children, determining prescriptions, and assisting in delivering glasses to students in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Optometry License is required.
• Flexible to commute throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations: check VA’s, assess binocular vision, IOP, pupils, perform a full refraction and prescribe appropriate correction, and assess ocular health.
• Prescribe vision devices, test patient on all applicable equipment to determine the most suitable for his/her condition, and instruct patient in the proper use of it.
• Confirm that patient diagnosis is properly documented in the internal systems.
