Job summary

Vision To Learn is seeking a licensed optometrist to join our mobile clinic team in the Sarasota, FL area. You will conduct comprehensive eye exams for schoolchildren and help provide prescription glasses to underserved students, traveling as needed in the greater Sarasota region.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida Optometry license to practice in Florida.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.
• Must be able to commute throughout the greater Sarasota area.
• Professional optometrist in good standing with licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations including VA checks, binocular vision, IOP, pupils and refraction.
• Prescribe vision devices and educate patients on proper use of correction.
• Document patient diagnosis accurately in internal systems.
